RunSignup, the leading registration and technology provider for races in the U.S., is including a new website component leveraging features from Strava, the leading digital community for active people with more than 120 million athletes in their upcoming releases of Membership and Race Websites V2.

This dynamic component displays Strava Routes and Strava Clubs on club and race website. The feature allows organizers to conveniently show course maps, and lets clubs share a variety of standard runs they log in Strava.

The Strava Routes integration feature offers half a dozen map view modes (Standard, Satellite, Hybrid, Light, Dark, and Winter) as well 2D/3D and metric/mile options. In addition, it automatically includes an elevation profile. Additionally, when a Strava club is added to the component, website visitors can easily jump to (and join) the linked club.

“We want to help race and membership organizations communicate compelling content to their participants and members and embedding Strava Routes and Clubs right into our next generation Website V2 accomplishes this,” said Bob Bickel, RunSignup Founder. “ Strava is a leading platform designed for athletes, providing features for tracking activities such as running, cycling, swimming, and more. It offers countless opportunities pre-built routes and many, many active clubs which is beneficial for our customers. The Route Builder is also easy to use for new users and the results look beautiful on a race website – especially the cool features like Route Flyover.”

You can see examples and more information in the RunSignup Strava Routes and Clubs blog post.
