Race Roster introduces mobile scanning solutions for quick & easy check-in
The new features will help event organizers keep check-in lines moving quickly and even check-in participants remotely around the race.
With Race Roster’s new mobile scanning solutions, event organizers can reimagine their check-in process.
“We are always thinking of ways we can help organizers streamline their race day experiences, which includes eliminating long check-in line-ups!" Says Emily Lutz, Product Manager at Race Roster. "By supporting a wide variety of device types, and their features, we've added the flexibility to re-imagine the check-in experience and where the process takes place. The process is simple:
- Using Race Roster’s Onsite App, a volunteer or staff member can scan the confirmation barcode or QR code with a phone or tablet.
- Press check-in.
- Distribute race bib.
This is a great way to keep check-in lines moving quickly, and even allows organizers to explore other areas to complete participant check-in. For example, volunteers could check-in participants from car windows upon arrival or move around the event site!
