J&A Racing, a nationally recognized race management company based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is thrilled to welcome Brooks Running to its race series. Brooks Running will serve as the #RunHappy Partner of J&A Racing’s fall virtual running events kicking off with the Old Point National Bank Wicked 10K presented by Bon Secours.

“By serving as J&A Racing’s #RunHappy Partner, we have created co-branded shipping boxes modeled after every runner’s favorite shoe box. When participants see Brooks Running, they know they are going to #RunHappy”, said Ryan Conrad, Director of Partnerships. “These co-branded boxes will be delivering #RunHappy to all of J&A Racing’s virtual race participants for the fall 2020 race season.”

With in-person race days disappearing from every runner’s fall schedule, the chance to create a participant experience is drastically changing. Participants are now getting their first in-person contact with their fall race when they open their mail. As the #RunHappy Partner, participants will now enjoy Brooks Running perks at local run specialty stores in Coastal Virginia when they show their J&A Racing race medals. Additionally, J&A Racing will be offering Brooks Running contests that award shoes and apparel throughout the fall season.

“In a racing environment that has many unknowns for the foreseeable future, we’re excited to partner with J&A Racing to bring a unique experience to runners who are jumping into the virtual racing world,” shared Stevie Jones, Brooks Running Event Marketing Manager. “Through our partnership, we’re looking forward to meeting these runners where they are in their running journey by sprinkling Brooks touchpoints throughout the course of their training leading up to race day.”
