RaceNation, the leading integrated event registration, fundraising and event day app has released a new results and timings features for users to submit online results.

In the next phase of RaceNation offering event organisers advanced ways to integrate with a new online mass participation audience, the new system feature will allow user-submitted results with a simple approval process, as well as richer leaderboards, which enable intelligent filtering of results.

The new feature, available to the 2,000+ UK events on the RaceNation platform, will allow users to submit their race times via four online modes: Scanning, Timing, Manual and Strava. Event organisers will then be allowed to approve the submission format of their choice and manage every entrant how they wish.

Results will then appear on a new enhanced leaderboard with live updates to incite competition between entrants. Something especially key for the growing number of virtual events still taking place due to COVID-19.

Will Golder, Director of RaceNation said: “The world of mass participation events is changing rapidly. Thankfully, so are our features. By improving the timings and results system we are enabling the thousands of events looking to bring some sort of virtual aspect into their organisation, either remotely or at venues to have an improved and well-integrated service that maintains their event spirit, while allowing organisers to continue hosting and organising memorable events that keep participants coming back.”

RaceNation has already announced multiple campaigns to support the rebuild of the event sector, having recently announced a partnership with The National Running Show and findarace.com to offer event organisers opportunities to improve their promotion. Last month saw RaceNation launch an Event Protect and Refund Protect service.
