New RACE EXPLORER Enhancements increase engagement in race analytics

The latest enhancements to RACE EXPLORER’s analytics dashboard are showing on average an increased engagement time of 30% per session. Competitors are primarily spending their time exploring the results on the interactive race map, which plots each competitor as a responsive icon within their category.

Increasing engagement in race results is a major objective of RACE EXPLORER, as events often miss out on an important opportunity to optimize the post-race experience and capitalize on their race timing investment.

New Features

The new features in the recent enhancements to the RACE EXPLORER service include integrating all analytics into a single scrollable dashboard for easier navigation.  Previously analytics were located over separate pages, with analysis showing that competitors prefer to navigate via scrolling rather than loading a new page.

“We’ve been able to compact the analytics into a single scrollable screen, both for desktop and mobile layouts.  This is already showing an increased level of engagement, with event participants spending more time both on the interactive race map and exploring the participation and pace analysis.”, reveals Grant.

While the RACE EXPLORER experience is optimized when viewing on the Desktop, a major update to the mobile layout also provides handheld users with the ability to scroll through full race distributions and pace analysis within the single scrollable display.
