Not only is Race Finder – RunnersWorld.com‘s race directory – backed by the world’s largest running magazine, but also one of the US’ top running websites. GetSetUSA.com offers a basic listing for your race for free with several premium options from there on – including email blast packages (select states only) – starting at $45. It’s fair to say they are not one of the largest directories, although the wealth of listings is state-dependent.

Number of races: 700

Listing your ultra on the largest US ultrarunning magazine’s race directory should be a no-brainer. So don’t think about it! The listing is fairly basic, but the audience is prime and you get to add a link back to your race website.

Something is stirring at ATRA, the American Trail Running Association. From recent communications, it looks like ATRA has woken from a period of lethargy and is getting a lot more energetic. That includes their website. If you organise a trail race, you got to be on the ATRA directory.

List on MudRunGuide.com and you’re listing on the strongest OCR/Mud Race directory in the US. Not only that, but your event will also appear on sites like Mud & Adventure as a bonus! These guys have built a very active 50k+ Facebook audience with another 11k+ followers on Twitter, so they must be doing something right!
