Lightbox will be migrating its registration customer base to RunSignup’s platform for all upcoming events.
Lightbox Registrations, a registration provider in the Northeast United States, and RunSignup, the endurance event industry’s leading technology and registration provider, announce their strategic partnership. Lightbox Registrations is officially migrating its registration customer base to RunSignup’s platform for all upcoming events. Lightbox Registrations is actively assisting in the transition of its customer base, and customers are able to take advantage of the many technologies RunSignup offers to its registration customers, including marketing and communication tools, event experience products, and donation and fundraising opportunities.
All Lightbox Registrations customers have been contacted and a joint Lightbox - RunSignup team is assisting customers to make the migration a smooth process.
“Lightbox has always been most interested in serving our customers well,” said Colin Peddie, the owner of Lightbox Registrations as well as the famed Marathon Sports running store chain in the Northeast. “We had, of course, heard about RunSignup’s market leadership, but when we took an in-depth look at their platform and how it could help our customers, we decided our customers would be better served by RunSignup versus our continuing to build out our own platform.”
Moving to RunSignup will allow Lightbox Registrations customers to take advantage of RunSignup’s industry leading features, such as:
Another component of the partnership between the two organizations is that Steve Delahunty, the creator of Lightbox Registrations and iResults, will integrate iResults and other result, video and audio technology into the RunSignup platform so events are able to deliver a more memorable race day experience.
“I am very happy to be focusing my efforts more on the race day experience,” said Steve Delahunty. “Integrating iResults with RunSignup will enable a much broader community of races to use this technology.”
“We are excited about working with Lightbox users to try to help make their events even more successful,” said Bob Bickel, Founder of RunSignup. “Working with Colin and Steve on this project has been great since we are all focused on the same thing - making the endurance community better.”
