RunSignup, the leading registration and technology provider for endurance events in the United States, introduces a simplified pricing model for its RaceDay timer technology suite. Commencing February, 2024, timers can secure an annual RaceDay Suite subscription encompassing RaceDay Scoring, Race Director, RaceJoy, unlimited text alerts, unlimited upload of RaceDay Photos, and RaceDay Results for a flat yearly fee of $199. The RaceDay Suite annual subscription covers all timers within a timing organization.

Bob Bickel, Founder and CEO of RunSignup, commented on the new pricing strategy, stating, “We are committed to providing timers with access to advanced technology at an affordable price. The revenue we generate from other sources helps us to cover the development and support costs that are involved in the comprehensive suite of timer technology we provide for today’s modern timers. Essentially, we are providing today’s technology at yesterday’s price.”

RunSignup’s RaceDay Suite includes its flagship product, RaceDay Scoring, its predecessor, The Race Director, RaceJoy’s mobile race app, and unlimited text and email alerts. The industry’s next generation in scoring software, RaceDay Scoring is designed for today’s modern timer and adeptly scores in race situations with or without internet service and for a wide variety of course configurations. RunSignup’s scoring solutions are currently being used by 17,000 races across the country and 3.4 million finishers were scored during 2023.

RaceDay Scoring offers timers:

  • Powerful scoring software for any size or complexity of event with V4.
  • Local execution on a PC, but syncing via the cloud – providing the best of both worlds. With a click of a button, a central timer can update the scoring for any of the teams in the field, enabling timers to grow their businesses.
  • Seamless syncing of RunSignup registered participants, and an open API so any registration provider can sync participants they want.
  • Seamless upload of results with splits, multisport, team scoring, lap scoring, XC scoring, etc.
  • Advanced automations to ease things like in race event switching (full to half marathon), DNF, DNS, out of range times and splits, etc.

RunSignup's RaceDay Suite offers a comprehensive array of products tailored for today's timers, facilitating real-time synchronization across multiple systems. From RaceDay registration and participant check-in to scored results, automated updates ensure timely and accurate information across all systems.

Timers utilizing RunSignup’s registration platform also have access to an array of complimentary race-related technologies, including:

  • RaceDay CheckIn App (participant and volunteer check-ins)
  • Mobile Timing App (for backup scoring or remote locations)
  • RaceDay Registration
  • Custom Websites
  • Advanced Email Solution
  • RaceDay Photos (autotagged online photos integrated with results)
