RunSignup, the leading registration and technology provider for endurance events in the United States, announces its strategic integration with Race Result scoring technology.

Embodying RunSignup’s commitment to open technology, the company is diligently working on establishing automated bi-directional synchronization of participant data between the two cutting-edge platforms. This collaborative effort aims to streamline and enhance the experience for timers managing events using RunSignup’s registration platform alongside Race Result scoring technology. RunSignup is currently inviting Race Result timers to participate as beta testers, offering valuable feedback for further refinement. The completed integration is anticipated to launch in January 2024.

In acknowledging the diverse needs of timers, Bob Bickel, Founder and CEO of RunSignup, stated, “We recognize that not all timers will utilize our scoring software, and we wanted to ensure a seamless option for those who use our registration platform. James Harris, our EventDay Chief Technology Officer, is personally overseeing the design and development of this integration, drawing upon his past experience with RaceJoy to guarantee a smooth and efficient solution.”

The integration process involves RunSignup leveraging Race Result’s API for seamless, real-time integration. The bi-directional synchronization ensures that modifications made on either platform are instantly mirrored across systems. This includes updates such as participant data changes, bib numbers, team names, custom questions, and membership data.
