RunSignup, the leading technology platform for endurance and peer-to-peer (P2P) events in the United States, today announced its Q2 2025 performance report. The company outpaced broader industry trends, reporting a 14% year-over-year increase in registrations, compared to 8% growth in 2024 and 2% year-to-date in 2025. RunSignup also saw a 10% rise in the number of races using its platform, now supporting more than 12,000 active events in Q2. Larger races (500+ participants) grew by 17% in Q2 year over year.

The company attributes its continued momentum to technology innovation, sustained investment in employees and customers, and customer migration from other platforms.

“Being employee-owned enables us to take a patient, customer-first approach,” said Bob Bickel, Founder and CEO of RunSignup. “We're investing in the future by supporting our employees and pioneering technology like AI that empowers events of all sizes.”

Surpassing Expectations and Expanding Market Share

RunSignup’s transaction volume grew 14% in Q2, exceeding the company’s planned growth of 9%. This outperformance, driven largely by endurance market share gains, enables RunSignup to maintain competitive pricing and invest in its employee-owners. In June, all employees received a tax-free stock grant, underscoring the company’s long-term commitment to shared success.

RunSignup continues to gain ground as more customers transition from legacy and other registration platforms. The company now holds more than 50% of the U.S. endurance registration market.

AI Innovation for Events and Operations

RunSignup’s "Year of AI" initiative accelerated in Q2 with the launch of the RunSignup AI Chatbot, a free tool that automates participant support using event-specific data and website content. Daniel Beasley, founder of Queu.ai, has joined RunSignup. Queu.ai has been leveraged by numerous RunSignup customers to streamline operations and reduce customer service overhead.

We saw an 80% drop in emails and saved 5–10 hours per week,” said David Hutnik of Coastal Race Productions. “The AI agent handled inquiries faster and more accurately than ever before.”

The company also introduced RunSignup AI for Vibe Coding, enabling event organizers to build custom web experiences using natural language and AI-assisted development. As AI becomes the new user interface for software platforms, RunSignup is building for a future of intuitive, intelligent interaction through LLMs and custom dashboards.

Internally, RunSignup reports a more than 20% improvement in developer productivity from AI-enhanced tools and workflows.

TicketSignup: Positioned for a Strong Fall Season

TicketSignup saw flat year-over-year results in Q2, primarily due to a delay in event openings from its largest customer and the absence of a few one-time events from 2024. However, the company anticipates significant growth in the fall and expects TicketSignup to represent 9% of total transaction volume for 2025, up from 7% in 2024. Its patent-pending Calendar-based Timed Entry remains a key differentiator in the ticketing market.

Fundraising Growth

GiveSignup, RunSignup’s peer-to-peer fundraising platform, posted solid gains with a 12% increase in donations year-over-year in Q2, reflecting its growing role in nonprofit event services.

Rapid Platform Advancements

RunSignup continues to innovate at pace, delivering more than 500 product updates in Q2 across Website V2, Email V2, RaceDay Scoring, RaceJoy, Mobile Timing App’s Photos, Fundraising, and Timed Entry Ticketing.

Community and Vision

The company recently wrapped up another successful RunSignup University, where customers explored new AI offerings and platform features. The event reaffirmed customer trust in RunSignup’s commitment to long-term innovation, sustainable growth, and mutual success.
