RaceClocker, the app for easy manual sports timing, has completed a new integration feature allowing race managers to seamlessly import race data and start lists from RunSignup into RaceClocker's timing system, eliminating manual entry and simplifying the race management process.

This easy to use integration - built on top of RunSignup’s programming interface and data platform - is designed to reduce setup time, streamline workflows, and minimise the potential for errors, offering an efficient and reliable experience for organisers of all race sizes.

Key benefits of the integration include:

  • Simplified data transfer: Race directors can now import race registrations and participant start lists directly from RunSignup into RaceClocker with just a few clicks. No more manual data transfer, reducing the risk of errors and saving valuable time on race day.
  • The live, easy data sync also allows registration to stay open on race day for last minute entries.
  • Improved efficiency for organisers: By combining the robust registration features of RunSignup with RaceClocker’s do-it-yourself timing system, organisers can focus more on delivering a great race experience and less on technical challenges whilst reducing cost.

Cees van Dok, CEO of RaceClocker, emphasised the user benefits: "This integration is a good example of our focus on ease of use. By connecting directly with RunSignup, we’re simplifying the process, reducing the workload for timing teams, and making race day operations smoother. Our mission is to become the best manual timing solution race managers could wish for and this collaboration with RunSignup is another step towards that.”

Bob Bickel, Founder of RunSignup said: "At RunSignup we provide technology solutions and an open platform approach to event management. Our extensive Open API platform enables companies like RaceClocker to build upon our platform, interact with our data and as a result extend the value to their and our customers.”

How It Works

Race managers using RaceClocker can access the integration by selecting the new ‘Import’ option available in the ‘My Races’ page. This functionality allows them to view the races and events overview on RunSignup and import with a single click all race metadata and the complete start list.

This feature is now live and available to all users of both platforms at no additional cost. A video demo of the flow can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/RCRSU
