Ahotu, a trusted source of information on running events for many years, is now adding triathlon, cycling, swimrun and twelve other formats to its calendar.
In preparation for the long-awaited reopening of the endurance event scene, Ahotu.com has become the biggest and the most comprehensive endurance calendar on the planet. The Ahotu team has added 15 new verticals. With the addition of triathlon, cycling, swimrun, swimming and other popular disciplines, Ahotu is now the place to go to discover more than 72,000 races worldwide. Which means endurance sport enthusiasts can now find new events and plan their entire season using just one calendar.
“Millions of runners enjoy using our calendar every year! With many of our users competing in other endurance disciplines, we saw the need to provide a more comprehensive event calendar. We realised no triathlon or cycling calendar offered the same level of service and global coverage as us, and we set out to change that.” said Jean-Loup Fenaux, the ultra-runner who founded Ahotu in 2009.
Finding endurance events across the world couldn’t be easier; all essential event information is found in one place and you can filter search results by discipline, location or date.
By opening up to other disciplines, Ahotu has responded to the needs of athletes and organisers of multi-sport events. Thousands of race organisers have been listing their running races on Ahotu for years but, until now, have been unable to list other endurance events, even if they were part of the same race weekend.
Events previously not listed on Ahotu as they do not include running races, will also benefit from the new version of the calendar. Adding an event is completely free.
“Ahotu is an established brand in the running industry for discovering events and keeping yourself updated on event changes. We now invite organisers of cycling races, triathlons, swimruns, obstacle races and other endurance events, to our calendar to start promoting their events to a global community of athletes.” Said Jean-Loup Fenaux.
