The latest release allows timers to score events with a team or group component, such as running clubs, corporate teams, and relays.
RunSignup has announced RaceDay Scoring Version 3.0, a new team upgrade release for the popular race timing software. This latest release of RaceDay Scoring encompasses substantial innovation for timers scoring events with a team or group component, such as running clubs, corporate teams, and relays. This significant upgrade spans all the important and essential functions timers need to deliver scoring and results for team events and includes new setup and scoring capabilities, advanced and simplified reporting options, expanded result publishing, and performance and navigation improvements. RaceDay Scoring is the planned replacement for The Race Director, the most used scoring software in the endurance industry.
“We are very excited to launch this latest release of RaceDay Scoring especially as on-site events continue to rekindle. The social nature of teams where groups of people experience an endurance event together is more important than ever and one most events should consider adding as it helps increase participation and drive registrations. However, it does lead to a greater level of complexity for timers from a scoring perspective. This new release addresses these complexities and empowers timers to provide a quality experience for their events,” said Bob Bickel, Founder and CEO of GiveSignup | RunSignup.
RaceDay Scoring version 3.0 includes an upgraded approach and greater flexibility for team set up, scoring, and reporting. Timers now have a simplified way to set up team types or classifications and are able to share these across multiple events. In addition, timers have expanded scoring capabilities, with the ability to score based upon all types of aggregate scoring definitions or rules such as age, gender, last team finisher, and so on. Version 3.0 also provides new simplified team reporting statistics for quick access to important data and includes new default reporting capabilities and the ability to combine multiple team classifications into a single report.
For finishers of team events, timers are able to offer expanded team results publishing capabilities. Teams can see their overall team results, drill down into individual stats, and compare results with other teams. Timers using RaceDay Scoring will also experience many other navigation and performance enhancements.
